I often carry a hammock in my bags for my day rides along with my lunch and book -- I just wish that I had more time to dedicate to such rides. I ride for a while looking for a nice pair of trees in a clearing, though a lot of this area has tall dry grass and rattlesnakes, so such spots aren't as common as I'd like, and I do have a tendency, as others here have expressed, to just keep on riding and riding.
