It's plausible. 22 or 24T chainring with 1:1 or 1.6:1 ratio. So you get a granny in 1:1 and the equivalent of a 35 or 38T ring in the overdrive. But IMHO the grey or black or whatever doesn't really look like it belongs on a Riv. Maybe it looks better in person than in the photo?
