After just a few rides on a brand-new Selle Anatomica, it looks like our old mule (Gladys) with a deeply swayed back. The manufacturer's website seems to say, don't worry about the way this looks, just tighten it up a bit at a time until it's comfortable.
I'm willing to follow the manufacturer's advice, but i'm pretty certain I've never seen a leather saddle sag and splay like this anytime in the last 30+ years of riding Ideales and Brooks. Moreover, I have what is supposed to be the identical saddle (different color) on my Roadeo, and have not had any sagging at all. Anyone else experience this with the Anatomicas, or have words of advice/wisdom? FWIW, I'm a Clyde and this is their Clyde model, ostensibly. thanks.
