Here’s what the Conservancy's website says about bikes:

"IMPORTANT NOTE!:  For your safety, ONLY MOUNTAIN BIKES— those
equipped with thick, knobby, all-terrain tires — are allowed in
Catalina's wild interior.
Hybrids or other bikes with thinner tires will not be allowed. Hard-
shelled helmets are also required."

The link I added above shows someone on a Bleriot so apparently that
was ok.

and you have to become a Conservancy Member for $35 to ride there.
