I built mine with an 8-year old Campagnolo Record 10 group, and I'm awfully happy with it.
Here are some pictures of my Roadeo build. The second set is with the Boxy Bag. http://www.flickr.com/photos/41563482@N06/sets/72157625470080748/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/41563482@N06/sets/72157625765337223/ The build is based on a Campagnolo Record 10 drivetrain that came off my 2003 Rivendell Road Standard. The ergo stuff didn't feel right on the Rivendell custom, so I took it off after just about six months of use, and stored it in a box in my garage. I also had an almost-new FSA Carbon Triple (24-38-48) that works perfectly with the Campagnolo 13-29. Nice Tektro brakes from Rivendell. Wheels are Mavic Aksiums with Schwalbe Kojaks. It's not what one would call a classically "Rivish" bike, but it's pretty, very light, very comfortable, and has plenty low gears. Last weekend we did the Hell's Gate 100, and I saw very few other steel bikes, and no Rivendells. Got plenty of nice compliments on the Roadeo. Just a terrific bike. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To post to this group, send email to rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com.
