Clif, I'd seen your photos on the "Tall Riders" Flickr group. That's a nice looking Quickbeam! I don't really anticipate any possibility of going to the Caprock Canyons trailway anytime sooner than late spring, and maybe not until fall. At this point, my impression of the trail is that it's pretty gnarly. I'm not sure that my bike(s) would be very suitable for a ride on the trail, since they're more road oriented. It appears to me that the Canyon trailway would probably be more suitable for a mountain type bike, or maybe a 650B shod with really wide (and tough!) tires.
If I go, I'd probably be most interested in hiking some of the Caprock Canyon trails, with a secondary opportunity of riding portions of the trailway.
