I've owned lots of Paselas over the years and only had sidewall trouble with one, a 700/28 Tourguard folding that I bought a couple of summers ago. It immediately developed a bulge that grew over the course of a 70 or so mile ride. I was able to exchange it as defective though, and the replacement (same model/size) was fine...
