I had 3 folding Pasela TG 35s and one non-folding Pasela TG 35 develop sidewall bulges within 500 miles. One actually blew out mid-ride. I haven't used Paselas since. This happened within a couple months of RBW taking Paselas off their web-site. I've always wondered whether that was pure coincidence.
It's too bad. They felt great. But after that blowout I'm going to have to be convinced that my problems would not recur before I trust them again. I've always wanted to try the 37s, thinking that since they have diffferent tread patterns that they might not share any problems with the 35s (perhaps they are made on different equipment?). But I don't know where to get 37s anymore. And in the meantime I've found $12-to-$15 tires on Amazon which aren't great but don't suck. So I haven't pursued Paselas for a while.
