For me, it depends on my mood -- I'll go for a few weeks riding my QB most of
the time, and then a few weeks riding my Atlantis most of the time. Every time
I go from one to the other I realize how much I like both, though they're quite
different bikes. Interestingly, I don't tend to pick the bike based on the
nature of the ride -- the geared bike doesn't generally get preference just
because the planned ride is hilly, for example (although what passes for hills
in Delaware wouldn't cause most of you guys to break a sweat!). And both are
set up to carry a load o' stuff if called for.

Subject: [RBW] Quickbeam Question - main bike, or backup bike?

I was looking at A D's fantastic SimpleOne:

I think because it looked so beautiful, I wondered if it was his main bike, or
one of many.

That made me wonder who of us with QBs consider it our primary bike, and who
uses it for a specialized purpose, or as a fun secondary bike.

My Quickbeam is my main bike. I ride it the most, I lavish the most attention
on it, and it's the one I consider "my bike!" I have two other bikes: a geared
mtb, and another 2-speed road bike.

So, Quickbeam owners, is your QB your "main bike?"

 Philip
