I did a review of two person tents for a magazine last year, and tried out a bunch.
I concur with the person who recommended double wall, free standing. Relative to that subcategory, MSR and Sierra Designs appeared to have better design, material and build quality than Big Agnes. There are any number of possible designs from these two firms--all appear about the same. The pyramid type tarps like Go Light ended up being alot of trouble to set up--at night or in the rain, it's convenient to have something that goes up the same way anywhere. One surprising option: Eureka Timberline is extremely inexpensive, well-designed, durable and practical. If you're touring with a trailer, you might want to consider the four person model. It is huge, much more comfortable than compact two person tents, and a practical design--sells for about $139. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
