Hi Joe,

I'm also 5'6" with a 79 PBH and I ride a 53cm Atlantis.

I started with a 51 and traded it for a 53.  The top tube is a little long
but I use an 8cm dirt drop.

I really think that you should go with the bigger bike unless you're running
really fat tires and doing alot of offroad.
