i am often encountering neck stiffness on my rides...went for a Guru bike fit and the guy was quite helpful: had me push my saddle way back for more pedalling with my hips vs kness ...I had pushed it forward to lessen the top tube length...to me despite the PBH suggestion of a 53 (i'm 5'6", 79 PHB) it's too long...i've got a nitto with the dirt stem shooting way up and still feel a stretch in the hoods (esp now with my saddle back).
my bike is pimpstripped too....might just sell it and get a hillson...or gunnar sport or their grand tour...anyhoo...i find my dekerf HT more enjoyable to ride than my atlantis due to not feeling dialed in right (have tried, moustache bars to get bars back towards me but can't remember why i gave them up)...spoke with grant today and he feels that size is a good one for me...but to me standover is only one key...if your upper torso is not in proportion, well then... i hadn't a chance to try it before it bought this 53"...was in aaron's bike shop a before i bought it and he only had a size 47 in stock, which he thought would work (don't think so) and didn't buy it...great shop..had a bike fit done there, too. http://www.cyclofiend.com/cc/2007/cc...llins0407.html my newly built up Riv Atlantis in process of selling (too big) http://www.cyclofiend.com/cc/2006/cc...llins1206.html my Surly X-Check in retro mode riv rambouillet i bought/had built up an sold... http://www.cyclofiend.com/cc/2007/cc...llins0807.html -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
