Anne, This is great information! Any of those areas would be great to visit.
To start getting things "real" I'm proposing the weekend of September 24 - 25 for consideration. Looking closely at my calendar, it's really the only weekend when I'm entirely free and it would be perfect for me. The weekend of September 4 - 5 or 5 -6 (Labor Day weekend) could work too, but it's going to be slightly more complicated logistically for me. I'm not sure what others have planned for that weekend. I have a campsite reserved in Half Moon Bay for the weekend of September 4 - 5, but if logistics turn against me I'll have to cancel it. A friend recommended it although I don't know what it's like... The weekends of September 11 and September 18 are out for me. As stated earlier, I'm planning on bringing my 11 year old and hopefully one of my daughters; Keven has now updated the arrival of the 58 Betty Foy for late August, so later in September will pretty much guarantee that the Betty will be built (by me) and fully ready for this adventure.
