As of today, FedEx doesn't know what FedEx is doing. The first package came from the UK and I got the bill and did not pay. A second package came from a German vendor and I got no bill. A third package came from the UK and I got the bill and did not pay.
I am of the belief that their internal protocols are not strong enough to deal with these issues on packages that used to be under the tariff value, which I think was $600 pre-Trump. The biggest question is whether any interest would be imposed if they ever catch up to me and then refuse to deliver anything to me ever because I am on the tariff-averse list of scofflaws. I'm a gambler on this one.
