Hmmm, did you buy it from Phil Roberts in AZ (or I suppose whoever he sold his to could have resold it by now)? I wonder how many are out there that have two forks? My understanding was that all the forks with the original crown were "recalled" since that crown did fail in testing. Phil's bike seemed to have the original version of the crown, not the stress relieved final version that my '99 has, and the HJ fork had not ever been used. Anyway, none of this really matters but it is interesting I guess ;^)
