I’m planning my fall riding clothing now. Summer is easy; I have tons of
summer options for clothing. But fall is more difficult, and specifically,
pants. Rivendell is offering these “cycling baggies” and I did order a
pair. I’m sure they are dead useful, but I don’t think they will be darling
on me, and I do like to be darling. Here they are:

So, I was looking around online and stumbled upon these, from Patagonia!

I think they will look really good for what they are. I only hesitate
because I dislike the idea of wearing clothing made from fishing nets. But
they do say no intentional PFAS and they get good reviews. And the Riv
pants are also nylon, so…

Anyway, leaving this here for my RivSisters who find themselves in the same
conundrum. pants that are cute but easy to cycle in are RARE, and if you
find them, they are also expensive. In the past, I’ve ordered Topo Designs
dirt pants, and while good and good looking, they do have seams that can be
problematic on longer rides. But these look promising!

Chime in if you’ve had a pair!
