I thought I had my AHH all figured out... thought it was a Toyo build, but now, reading this post, I guess it's a Waterford build? Is there any way of knowing definitively? If I email Riv with my serial no. can they tell me or is there some place else where this info. might be posted? Not that it matters all that much, I guess, but nice to know.
My AHH is the lighter colour. When my frame arrived from Riv I was disappointed. I thought the darker blue was more striking (although I had only ever seen it in photographs). I've had my AHH for about three and a half months now, and the colour has really grown on me. As Eric mentioned, the paint has a lovely sparkle to it that really pops in certain light. A while back I was in a LBS and saw an AHH frame hanging from the ceiling. It was the darker blue, and although I didn't get a real close up look at it, I felt better about my bike's colour having seen this darker blue frame. The colour just seemed a little bit more flat and lacked that sparkle. It was inside, however, so it's hard to say how it would have looked in different light.
