Hi!

I've acquired a set of used bar-end shifter pods as sold by RBW. The complete
set includes:

2 of each of the following:

- bar-end "insert" (the major structure of the mount)
- thick-ish flat round washer with a square hole
- round button connected to an internally threaded hollow pillar; the pillar is
rectangular with the small sides bulging outward. obviously this pokes through
the same-shaped hole in the "insert" and is secured by the bolt connecting it
to the shifter itself

I also got *one* (count 'em... uno) odd-shaped stiff piece of wire that looks
like it's a spring/clip of some kind. I *think* I see where it would go
relative to the other parts of a single shifter. I don't know what it would do,
though.

I'm confused why these things aren't symmetrical. Am I missing something? Do I
have something extra? Can someone explain?

Thanks for reading!
