I like moon units. I’ve got a set of green ones on my Quickbeam. They 
replaced the stock Shimano cabling. They don’t work any better, and I made 
sure the cable lengths matched the Shimano units. I wouldn’t trade them 
back. 

They are easy to manage, because you can tighten the cable bolts without 
twisting anything. They turn an unremarkable part of the bike into a nice 
statement. They are much heavier and much more expensive.
