i just upgrade to these, and i do like how it was a little easier to get the starting cable in, and you can remove the roller in case your straddle cable have ends already on them, but i dunno if it made any difference over the standard $1 dia compe carriers i was using before! the paul's look cool but i agree with others, not sure its enough of a difference to choose over standard options, but then again some choices we make on bike parts dont always make sense!
