hi Patrick - SRAM used to make a 2 speed AUTOMATICKS or AUTOMATIX. I'm uncertain if it automatically shifted above a certain RPM, or if the rider had to kick back a 1/4 rotation like the S-A. I think it was bigger and heavier than the S-A.
I bought my S-A off eBay a few years ago and I've been using on a Miyata OneThousand. I think I had a really hard time finding one without a coaster brake. The only one I could find was a bike shop in Canada with a NOS anodized blue. (should look good with the Ana purple!) I'm decommissioning the Miyata up size the frame and get a Rivendell.
