WRT the lines and shape of this bike ... It's really subtle, but it looks to me like the top and down tubes are squished, like my Rosco Bebe. Does anyone agree?
I THINK that feature was added to make the frame stiffer rotationally (twisting around the front-to-back axis) . I have a feeling that being able to stiffen the frame by shaping the tubes has given Grant a little more artistic freedom. It's really exciting to see that technique being used again on an upcoming bike. I wonder if squished tubes is also a feature on the Gus. Can anyone confirm? Does anyone know any other bike maker who squishes tubes? I kind of assume it common. People squish chainstays all the time. What about steel downtubes though? I ride a 54 +/- in most things. Bikes with 700c wheels look big to me now that I'm used to 650b. Paul in NW Arkansas On Friday, April 24, 2020 at 5:34:40 PM UTC-5, Ann L wrote: > > Me. The more I look at it, the more I like it.
