Joe et al, In a broad sense of "pretty stout", that is likely true, but (I believe?) the Gus has geometry differences (a slacker head tube that puts the front wheel more forward and that is wondrous on the trail. But I've not ridden anything else with the "new" geometry, only having a QB and Hunqapillar to compare.
