Leah: Your paeans (I had to look up the spelling) to your Clem are almost
heartbreakingly eloquent, and yes, the wavy fenders are aethereally (ditto)
beautiful. And how many of the rest of us have wrestled in prayer with the
length of stems?

Me, all the talk about the comfort and agility of vastly long-stayed Rivs
off road makes me want to try a Clem or Gus or
whateverthehelltherightdirtroadmodelis, upright bar and everything. But
(question for all): don't Rivendell seating positions presuppose a low
gear, seated, twiddling style of pedaling? How do the Gus and so forth do
when the rider likes to mash and stand?
