Yeah, these tires look absolutely burly. That was part of the appeal for me, but I got them mainly because I plan on doing a lot of offroad (adventure?) touring on them, and the extra air will be nice. They are approaching 650B in diameter but maybe better because there is more air and less wheel. Thats my unscientific assessment anyways. I like how they roll, thats all I really know.
Even though I already had a 700c 58cm atlantis, I was happy to find out I could fit the 26" 56cm too because I was looking for 26" tourer. So I bought it and I plan on keeping both. The 56cm feels like a mountain goat and the 58cm like a horse maybe, but that has a lot more to do with their current tires/handlebar/racks set up than the sizing. Lots of versatility on set up with these two bikes, thats for sure.
