Got out today in the crystal clear daylight for a ride in the 34° bluster and saw the new switchback ramp from the Smithfield Street Bridge down to the Monongahela River wharf where riders on the Great Allegheny Passage can get to or from Point State Park and the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers creating the Ohio River without playing in downtown Pittsburgh urban traffic:

Let me be sure I understand: this new ramp lets you come in without the maze on downtown streets?  I'm glad the lead rider in our party had BPS, because even though there was signage on the streets, there's no way I could ever have followed it.   Has this been updated in the online maps of the GAP?

The fountain is off still, despite being opening day at PNC Park for the Pirates:

It looks much better when the fountain is on!
