A Roadini with 60mm tires would likely need a wider Q factor to clear the rear
tire. This is just one of many geometry changes which would add up to yield a
very different bike.

A road bike with mountain bike clearances is a rare animal. The only one I can
think of that comes close is the Rawland rSogn, which was 650b, could handle
~2" tires, had a low Q and was biased toward road geo. I was so fascinated by
this idea tbat I acquired two rSogn, and had one of them modified by moving the
canti posts so it can run 26" wheels (I dreamed of a road bike with widish 26"
rubber).

I believe only 200 rSogns were ever produced.

Oddly, I ride my 700c x 35mm bike more than either Sogn (and I love those
Sogns). The 700c machine fits me like a glove. It is almost perfectly designed
as it is. I can't imagine giving up any one of these three bikes though.
