Freeze/thaw/freeze cycles are very challenging on intricate bits. It maximizes the moisture/condensation that gets into areas that expand/contract differently. I’ve never tried a dyno hub and this is half the reason (the other half being I suspect I’d destroy the intricate bits with the riding I do). Battery lights for me, but I’m an atypical rider. Grin.
