I agree with Toshi’s route. Pretty classic SoCal ride and a very casual meander on protected bike trails. If you go the south direction, that takes you through Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beach areas. Just south of that is the coast of Palos Verdes. That area is also nice but more quiet residential community. There is a one-street “downtown” that has a very nice coffee shop. A little bit farther south is the Wayfarers Chapel which is a beautiful mostly glass church designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Worthwhile destination.
