You're in good company! Or, at least not the only mid-thirties guy here.

I started un-racering a couple years after our kids were born (on average 6 
years ago), felt bad about it the whole time, and then discovered Rivendell 
when I moved nearby in 2015. Put some albatross bars and practical gearing 
on a very old Bridgestone that'd been sitting ignored in my garage for many 
years, and haven't looked back!

The problem is real though. Keep us updated, preferably with photos :)
