Agreed, and I also see the following advantages for a club like the BTCC:

-People who want to experiment with tandem riding without jumping in the deep
end

-People who can't otherwise store/maintain their own tandem

-Having a wide-size-range tandem on hand for a myriad of riders

-Having a "comfortable" upright versatile tandem on hand (read beginner
friendly)

There's probably more but....those are just a few that came to mind. If they
aren't interested, that's OK we'll figure it out.

I'm ok with letting it ride a few more days to see if Christine is on vacation
or something like that....patience is a virtue :-)

IF.....this doesn't pan out and Riv is one frame away from making their order
our shop will happily tack one on to the order. We have one from the first
round and absolutely love it. I had always envisioned having one for the shop
as a rental etc and the original plan was to let ours out on loan. I've since
built it up in a pretty fancy spec and grown attached....not sure I'd loan it
out but to close friends. Since there has been interest from several people
this season, I think having a more basic build available for rental would be a
cool thing.

It will all work out, I promise.
