DON'T send that carbon fork to the dump! Carbon fiber parts don't break down in a way that's healthy. It's like watching a Corvette crash; all shards and fibers, something to be swept away while wearing a construction safety mask. Seriously. Instead, consider shellacking it and turning it into art.
