PS- Some people on this forum have raised the level of hacks on this forum to “haqués”.
IIRC, I have read on this forum about people cold-setting their chainstays so they can fit the hub they wanted on the rear wheel. Also people doing surgery on their frames so they can fit the tire width or chain line line they wanted if I recall correctly. I think Patrick Moore is guilty of this. He can chime in once his brain recovers.
