Patrick: For MKS on a budget, the "Esprit: model is a lot wider than the GR-9s I used to use and supports the foot better than the Sylvans. (For $35-odd, you don't get a correct spelling of "spirit" -- that's reserved for the more expensive models.) I didn't care for the Urbans, and quickly sold mine. The Esprits combine a nice, wide-ish body and serrated cage that works very well for my aging, sole-thinning boat shoes.
