As of Jan 1 Waterford up their prices across the board. I know this because I ordered one prior to the price increase. I was looking at a Gunnar Roadie but then my shop informed me that with all the specs I requested it would be the same price as a Waterford UNTIL JAN 1. So it worked out for me.
Anyway I suspect that's at least part of the reason Rivs are going up.
