Patrick, can def. see the weight shift - but I guess hard to tell how much more than you'd normally shift while descending that pitch on any bike. Thanks for sharing your experiments so we can all learn from them!
Question: Which road brake lever are you using? Have you ever tried an MTB-type lever? (knowing it'd require a 23.8 clamp).
