Yeah John G, I'm pretty sure I'm in the same boat with a 90.5 PBH :( The Black Mountain Monster Cross (58cm, $650ish) and the All-City Nature Boy (55, $600ish) are looking better and better, thanks to reviews on this site and many others.
Even a Vaya (57cm, $799ish) plus the ENO Eccentric is on option. Had one fully geared, never shoulda sold it - would be fun to experiment with it. Geo is remarkably close to the 58 Sam. A Roadini with the Eccentric wouldn't be much more expensive than the Vaya ... but these might stray away from intentional SS setups to a degree not worth it...dunno.
