My recollection is that the Luxos was more expensive when it first came out, though regardless, I chose the Sinewave Revolution when it first came out because:
1. I already owned decent lights - mostly B&M IQ Cyo lights 2. I have multiple bikes with dyno/headlights 3. It's easy to switch the Revolution to different bikes vs. moving a headlight around that's bolted to a front rack or crown with carefully routed wiring On Thu, Nov 30, 2017 at 12:10 PM, Tim Gavin <tim.ga...@littlevillagemag.com> wrote: > Oh the Luxos has its drawbacks: > > - It's not as attractive as an Edelux > - The plastic body seems less durable > - Its beam is super wide but show plenty of notchy artifacts > - Early production runs had quality problems (connectors separating > from main board, water intrusion in handlebar switch), though these have > been addressed in newer production runs (identifiable by USB charging > "dongle" instead of socket) > > But, considering its low price for a light and charging combo, I'm ok with > those drawbacks.
