Less shifting if I can do 99% of riding on the big ring, bashguard looks so nice on those arms, less gears, i like simplifying. So I want to try the setup. Maybe reduce a little weight if I switch to double/shortcage derailers.
With my triple I am constantly switching between 2nd and 3rd rings.
