I'm of the the perfect number is N+1 crowd. I suspect you'll love your Sam. I don't own one (yet) myself, making do with a lovely Quickbeam I took delivery of last December. Currently besides the QB I've got a Bike Friday folder (which got to visit Rivendell last year when I was on the mainland), a single speed conversion of an old steel framed ATB (yep, it's an ATB not an MTB!), and a Giant hybrid which may become an Xtracycle.
