Hi everybody; I'm new here. This thread seemed as good a place as any to introduce myself and dive in.
I 'only' have 3 bikes (going on 4 when my Sam arrives): a fetishistically over-spec Santa Cruz full boinger that is dreamy for epic singletrack, but virtually useless for anything else. A Lemond Buenos Aires go-fast road ride that I got a screamin' deal on (pity it doesn't fit right). Lastly, I have an 'old' Gary Fisher from '95 that I'm making into a singlespeed pub crawler. My wife is already asking which one I'm planning on getting rid of to make room for the Sam. I just tell her that we have a big garage... For me 4 seems the optimal number... at least until the next bike... Me, I'm an aging bike geek from Seattle. Glad to be here.
