Chris asked about my build plans:

Yes, you are right the shelves are stocked. I won't have to buy much of
anything. I may buy an Albatross bar/stem, or I might do a drop bar build.
 We'll see.

The drivetrain will be 3x8. XTR rear der. 8sp Shimano barcons. Whatever
front der. Ritchey Logic 172.5 in XTR grey 42/32/22. This drivetrain did
time on a Bombadil, and an Appaloosa.

The wheelset is XT parallax hubs, with retro-reflective Velocity Synergy
rims. I converted the hubset to BOLT-ON, just to be awesome, and I think
bolt-on is ideal for these horizontal rear dropouts. I haven't decided
between cantilevers and V-brakes. This wheelset had been on my Bombadil,
and was earmarked for a Hunqapillar, but that slot is being filled by this
mixte.
