I would never give any static regarding fender use one way or the
other. I know it's not very rivish of me, but for my riding I find
little use for fenders. If I am riding in mud, I expect to be muddy.
If I ride in rain I expect to be wet. Now if I was work commuting, or
lived in an area that saw more rainfall my story would be much
different. Around here sloppy wet condition are pretty rare.

As for the M bars, I am very happy with them. Even though I have
carpal tunnel issues with both hands, the multiple bar positions
allowed me to keep moving around with minimal numbness in my fingers.
Surprisingly my shoulders and neck felt ok considering the time on the
bike. I have to say, other than maybe a couple minor set up changes,
the Bleriot is pretty dialed in. I want to re-visit my saddle position
only because I felt like I was scooting around a bunch, and I really
need to add spikes to the grip kings...when they get wet it's like
trying to stand on oiled ice cubes. I have spikes on the bmx pedals on
the Bombadil and they eliminate all that.

Good fun!!
