I hear you about the TdF wannabes which normally don't bother me when they speed on non-peak trail times. Just this weekend, when it wasn't raining, I took the family out for a slow ride to the park and it just blows me away when people pass without 1) signaling and 2) at much higher speeds. Even when I decide to ride my go fast bike on the trail I slow down significantly when passing other riders, especially parents carrying or riding with kids, and pedestrians.
