you guys are preaching to the choir. i rode from 1983 to 2005 never
having a ride without a sore back. and, that includes a lot of long
rides. finally in november '05, i drove over to rivndell and had a
long chat with grant and my whole outlook about bike fit and even
riding has changed. i actually do a couple of centuries a year with
almost no back pain and ride with my club on or 40-60mi rides and
rarely have back pain. grant's fit with lots of " core" work have made
cycling a wonderful experience. i am 58 and ride a lot with many
people younger and am really enjoying my riding. chances are, if i
hadn't had that conversation with grant, i would probably be playing
duplicate bridge on the weekends.
