That is exactly how I feel now. I went mountain biking with my son on
Saturday on nice flat trails on the Santa Cruz coast (Wider Ranch
Ohlone trail). Took the Titus dual suspension just to "feel" it again
after having ridden the Bombadil.

Felt so constrained, so low on the bars and am pretty much ready to
remove the clipless pedals after thinking for so long that it was
"bad" to ride platform pedals. I almost fell because my foot had
already "forgotten" to unclip. My feet now want the freedom to
reposition on the pedal for best comfort!

Will switch to a higher rise stem (running a 110mm/0deg stem now) and
platform pedals and see what happens...

At least I had left plenty of steerer exposed so I've already raised
the stem to the max...

My future with this bike is now uncertain...
