I do remember you mentioning the 6 vs 5mm difference when you were doing 
your build.  Good thing to remember, so thanks.

I did call Riv the other day to ask about BB's and seatposts.  Rich said he 
thought they came with 111mm BB's.  He also told me that the Appa's use 
26.8 seatposts, so out went my stash of 27.2's.  I know a post comes with 
the frame, and it is probably just fine(!), but I am always looking at 
options.  One thing I could not decide on from pictures, and it's 
impossible to know until I try it out or better study the numbers, but does 
a 250mm length seatpost work or does it need to be longer (300, 350)?  We 
shall see and as long as I have something that works, that's 98% of it.  

I had not planned on buying a new bike but I just could not resist... 
strike when the right color and bike shows up!
