I love the Sam on off roady tires and had 40c marathon extremes on it for a long time, taking it out on many trails in Chiang Mai with those tires... however I also managed to break the HT/TT lug joint doing so! Later on I got a Soulcraft Option 3 (pic <https://flic.kr/p/sCK6c8>) and riding trail is much more fun on that, while still having some BoBish qualities in the build.
I expect that later down the road I will put the bosco bars on it with every racks and baskets on every boss possible and have the most useful bike in the world again.
