I have been using an Arkel Shopping Bag and the Nitto rack together for many years. No problem. I also use the Carradice Commuter bag occasionaly and find it works, but is a little awkward. I really like both the Nitto rack and Arkel bags. Good to know that you can still get the previous mounting hardware. I wonder why they changed it, since it works great and is easy to set up and take on and off the bike. Michael
