Michael, If you want to convert your screw on pump to a press-ta-thing-on-ta-valve pump you could do it with one of these: http://www.modernbike.com/product-2126217659?gclid=CMrD4cK3884CFUGUfgodigwPYg I converted a cheap schrader air chuck with gauge by cutting off the schrader end and replacing it with the presta chuck. I found an aluminum one by silca that works great (and was cheaper). My local hardware store crimped it onto the cut hose for me. I use it for my air compressor but you could easily do the same on a pump hose.
